Launch Your Home Inspection Career with the Experts at Kaplan Professional Schools!

A home inspector is a person who inspects, analyzes, and reports the physical condition of property. To be a public home inspector in the Twin Cities—one who performs Truth-in-Housing or code compliance inspections—one must be licensed by the governing city or municipality. To be a private inspector in Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota, you must obtain a state license. However, there are no requirements to become a private home inspector in Minnesota. The first step to getting started in the home inspection business is to enroll in the Kaplan Professional Schools Professional Home Inspection Series
