Advanced Residential Applications and Case Studies

This course is designed to elevate the appraiser's knowledge of challenging residential  appraisal assignments and to develop the expertise to recognize and address those situations at the Certified Residential level. Topic areas focus on complex properties that include valuing unique and high-end residential dwellings. This course addresses these challenges through studies including cost development, locational considerations, functional obsolescence, and data identification/qualification issues.

An HP12C calculator, or its equivalent, is required for this class.  Students should be familiar with and bring to class their own financial calculator.  Instructors will teach under the assumption that all students have the necessary knowledge to use their financial calculator.
