15-Hour National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice Course
Using the 2012-2013 edition of USPAP this course focuses on the requirements for ethical behavior and competent performance by appraisers. In this nationally-accredited two-day course you will review the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). The USPAP manual conveys the minimum standards for ethical behavior, competency rules and several other rules and standards accepted throughout the United States and Canada. The experienced AQB-Certified USPAP instructor will augment the learning by offering clear explanations, examples and case studies. At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to define and understand the standard terms required of today’s appraisal profession, to recognize appropriate ethical behavior and competency requirements for appraisal professionals and know how to develop a proper scope of work for appraisal assignments. The course concludes with a one-hour exam. The exam must be taken and successfully passed to receive credit. This course cannot substitute for the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice Update course. The tuition of this course includes course materials and the current edition of the USPAP manual. This course meets the 15-Hour National USPAP course licensing requirement. The course is also approved for 15 hours of continuing education; however, it may not be substituted for the mandatory 7-Hour National USPAP Update course required to be completed during every two year renewal period.
