Nearly 85% of all residential property transactions involve some type of home inspection. With so much opportunity, it is no wonder that today home inspection is one of the fastest growing professions in the nation. Our 2-day course, Residential Building Analysis 201: The Inspection and Valuation, teaches you how to become a home inspector. Upon Completion of this course you will know if the home inspection field is right for you. In Addition, you will have made significant progress in your technical training as a home inspector and setting your business up for success.

This course was developed through in-depth research and interviews with home inspectors, building contractors and remodelers, appraisers and real estate sales professionals. Both curriculum and instruction are directed towards giving you the know-how and skills required to conduct home inspections.

On-Site Home Inspection

Each student will perform a live, on-site home inspection and prepare a sample report.

Accreditation

The course is approved by ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) and NAHI (National Association of Home Inspectors) for 15 hours of continuing education. The Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce has approved this course for 15 hours of appraisal and real estate continuing education. It is approved for 7.5 hours of building contractor continuing education including mandatory energy topic.
