2012-2013 National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) Update Course

Credit hours: 7.5

Upcoming Dates

This course fulfills the USPAP continuing education requirement that states ‘every licensed and certified appraiser must complete a USPAP update course every two years.’

This course is taught by experienced and AQB-Certified USPAP instructors.  You’ll appreciate their ability to answer your questions and clarify the most commonly misunderstood elements of USPAP.  Through real-world examples and case studies, you’ll be challenged to interpret the principles of USPAP and apply them to your daily practice.

Each student receives a copy of the current edition of USPAP.  There is an additional $59 fee for the AQB-mandated course materials and national certification.


Topics Include:

  • Explanation of the changes, deletions and additions to the 2012-2013 edition of USPAP
  • Explanation and examples of when USPAP applies
  • Obligations of Ethics
  • Common USPAP violations and hot topics
  • Several ‘real world’ scenarios are presented to challenge students to interpret and apply USPAP to situations encountered in their daily practice
  • No exam
